What this proves

A verified receipt establishes that the transaction was approved by the required number of distinct approvers, under the exact policy version, bound to that exact transaction — cryptographically, with no trust in our servers.

Pin your fingerprint and the proof also confirms it names your real approver set, so a forged set is rejected on sight.
